We are committed to offering transparent, fair, and customer-friendly policies to ensure your satisfaction while maintaining the integrity of our services.

This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which payments made to Bhumij Matrimony may or may not be refunded.
Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any paid plan or subscription.

 

1. General Policy

When you subscribe to any paid service or plan on Bhumij Matrimony, you acknowledge that:

  • Our platform provides digital matchmaking services, not physical goods.
  • You are paying for access to online features, such as profile visibility, communication tools, and matchmaking preferences.
  • Once these digital services are activated, refunds are limited as the service is considered “used” or “delivered.”

However, in genuine cases, our team reviews refund requests fairly and transparently.

 

2. Non-Refundable Services

Certain payments and subscriptions are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

1. Profile upgrades or premium membership fees.
2. Promotional or featured listings.
3. Add-on services (such as highlight, top placement, or match alerts).
4. Technical setup or maintenance charges.
5. Payments made for verification or profile moderation.

Once payment is successfully processed, these services are automatically activated and therefore cannot be reversed or refunded.

 

3. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be considered under the following exceptional circumstances:

1. Duplicate Payment:
   If you have been charged twice for the same service due to a technical or payment gateway error.

2. Payment Failure but Amount Deducted:
   If your transaction failed but the amount was still debited from your bank account or wallet.

3. Service Not Activated:
   If your paid plan is not activated within 48 hours after successful payment confirmation (and no manual issue from your end).

4. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

1. Write to [info@bhumijmatrimony.com](mailto:bhumijmatrimony@gmail.com) with:

  •    * Registered email ID
  •    * Transaction ID / payment receipt
  •    * Date and amount of payment
  •    * Reason for refund request

2. Our billing team will acknowledge your email within 48 working hours.

3. After verification, valid refund requests will be processed within 7–10 business days through the original mode of payment (bank, UPI, card, etc.).

 

5. Partial Refunds

In rare cases, if a partial service has been used (for example, limited message credits or profile views consumed), the refund amount may be adjusted proportionally after deducting applicable usage or administrative charges.

 

6. Subscription Cancellations

You can cancel your active paid plan at any time by contacting our support team.
However:

  • * Cancellation stops future auto-renewals,
  • * But does not automatically generate a refund for the current active plan.

Your account will remain active with all premium benefits until the expiry of your current plan period.

 

7. Disputes and Resolution

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may request a review within 5 working days of the initial response.
All disputes shall be handled respectfully and resolved through mutual communication.

8. Important Notes

  1.  Refunds are *not applicable* for dissatisfaction with profile matches or number of responses.
  2.   (We provide matchmaking assistance, but successful marriage depends on personal compatibility and mutual interest.)
  3.  Refunds will not be issued if a user’s profile is suspended or terminated for policy violations, misuse, or false information.
  4.  Refunds are not offered for free trial users or expired memberships.

 

9. Payment Gateway Responsibility

Payments made via third-party gateways (such as Razorpay, Paytm, etc.) are subject to their own policies.
Bhumij Matrimony is not responsible for delays, deductions, or technical issues caused by third-party processors, though we will assist you in resolving such cases.

 

10. Policy Updates

We may revise or update this Refund Policy from time to time to align with new services or legal requirements.
All updates will be published on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of our services after policy updates indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
